Meet Our Owners/Trainers
Albany NY Owner/Head Trainer Scott Alkinburgh
In Scott's words; "dog training for 40 years. Started by training and competing in Schutzhund trials with my first love, a female black and tan German Shepherd named "Storm." While training various dogs in basic obedience as well as advanced off leash obedience, I became heavily involved in pitbull rescues. As a police officer, I trained and assisted multiple law enforcement agencies and officers with training their K9 units. I, along with my wife, Tiia Alkinburgh, currently have 4 dogs, 3 male Labrador retrievers, Wyatt, Josey, and Blondie and our newest pack member, a female blue heeler named, "Dixie." I have no children other than dogs, and have spent my entire life learning and teaching how to communicate with them to build a healthy relationship and enjoy every minute of their loving time with us. I started Pawesome Dog Training 3 years ago and have helped over 600 clients build great bonds with their dogs."
